L. Farnsworth Colson
Creative Director at Authocracy Publishing
New England-based author L. Farnsworth Colson’s passion for storytelling began in grade school, where he would daydream about following in the footsteps of Joss Whedon as a TV show runner after seeing the director’s shows Buffy and Firefly.
While in high school he cut his teeth on the writings of Shakespeare, C.S. Lewis, Ray Bradbury, Susanna Clarke, J.K. Rowling, Terry Pratchett, Neil Gaiman, and Philip Pullman – influences which would later come to shape the aesthetic tastes of his own literary style. After his debut novel In the Shadow of Prometheus hit #1 on Amazon, he became the Creative Director here at Authocracy Publishing.
He says he’s equally happy to be called ‘Lucas’, ‘Luke’, or just ‘Lu’, but in our experience, most everyone tends to land eventually on Lucas.
